Vodafone launches self-branded Facebook phone

Vodafone has launched a Facebook dedicated handset Vodafone Blue in the Indian market. The phone has been built by TCL, a company makes phones under the Alcatel brand. The Facebook phone is also known as the 555 Blue, features a dedicated Facebook button and integrates the social network with the handset’s messages and phonebook. The device will offer a customized Facebook experience to people who love social networking and messaging. 

The handset Vodafone Blue comes with Opera Mini 5 Web browser having a home screen widget which brings the latest Facebook updates. However, the most disappointing aspect of the phone is its limited connectivity options: it does not support 3G or WiFi connectivity.
