Bada 2.0 Official Indian Firmware (Overview)

Hi friends,
After much awaiting, finally Samsung has rolled out the official Indian bada 2.0 firmware(s8530ddlc2) for the BADA smartphone users. With wave III(S8600) released with official bada 2.0, it is currently available for Wave II(S8530) users and will be available for wave I(S8500) users in a short period of time. You can update your phone with the help of samsung kies or flash it with the help latest version of multiloader v5.65  and the firmware is present on the link below.
Here we provide you the complete reviews with all the pros and cons of this official firmware.

The new version of bada looks a lot like andriod and its functionality is pretty much similar. It includes enhanced user interface, updated lock screen, push notification and web technologies. Also is has its own version of Apple’s Siri as well as folder management with a dynamic graphical effects which is awesome. However, the Siri like voice command is not up to the mark because the bada’s version hardly responded to our commands. More effort is needed to put into it.

  • The icons have also changes in this new version with 4 icons in a row. Also the icons are more condensed too.
  • Samsung also provided with 1 font other then samsung font but we can download more fonts from samsung app store without any cost.
  • New and improved effective email management is there. It also has new and improved social hub.
  • Swype and predictive text option is available with all the keyboards present in the previous version.
  • In my file only two tabs are present namely phone and memory. All tab is missing.

  • No option for packet data in home screen drop down list in this firmware unlike the other firmwares.
  • Also there are only two sound profiles one sound and vibration and other one only vibration.
  • Wifi direct as expected to be present in this firmware is not available.
  • Alarm clock volume is dramatically down and cannot be increased even though you increase all the volume level in the settings.
  • Music player does not have an equalizer option, instead it is present in main menu settings.
  • No option for using the front camera.
  • The system is a bit slower then the previous bada version with some lags.

Overall, this firmware of bada 2.0 is definitely not the best but not even the worst. So we can call it just OKAY…!
